Born and raised in Cheyenne Wyoming, I have lived in Cheyenne my entire life. I went to college at the University of Wyoming, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Administration of Justice. I have always had a longing to help others and after graduating from the University of Wyoming I worked for Head Start of Laramie County working with families and children’s needs. After Head Start, I worked with victims of crime for 23 years. I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Chadron State College, and completed my practicum and internship hours at Specialty Counseling, and am currently provisionally licensed here at SpeakLife. I am excited and looking forward to continuing my life journey of helping others. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and going on walks with my dog, Blue!

I have been married to my wonderful husband Nick for 18 years, since my senior year in high school. We have been blessed with three wonderful boys together: Kevin, Bryson, and Nathanael. I spent 8 years in the United States Navy. It was there I realized God was guiding me to be a counselor. Even with having children, I have worked towards my goal of becoming a counseling and now nearing the end of my schooling. I have felt an innate call to Christian Counseling and being a light for others as a counselor.
